Supriya Das is an Education Specialist working for children with visual impairment, multiple disabilities with visual impairment and deafblindness. She is a certified trainer from Perkins School for the Blind, USA and has over 10 years of experience in the field. She has a keen interest in crafting individualized aids and teaching learning solutions for children with disabilities that helps them to learn, grow and develop to their full potential. She started the theholdinghands.com to provide information, resources and solution to parents and rehabilitation professionals as well as help connect people with each other.
She firmly believes that every single person on this earth deserves respect, freedom and opportunities irrespective of their abilities or disabilities.

Kanchan Negi is a passionate special educator. She has her specialization in intellectual disabilities, visual impairment and deaf blindness. Apart from working with children, she is a creative genius. Designing and making things out of ordinary items comes to her naturally. She uses her skill to make a variety of tools and toys for children with disabilities.
In her free time she practices martial arts, plays the guitar and dances. Her dynamism always pushes her to take new challenges. Her motto in life, ‘Never stop learning”
The youngest in the team, Harsh Vandana is a trained special educator working for children with intellectual and multiple disabilities. Being in the teaching profession, she bonds excellently with her students and makes best friends with all of them. She strives for precision and perfection in every work she takes up. She has designed numerous educational aids and adapted toys.
In her personal life, she is a sport who never loses any opportunity to sing and shake a leg.
Our Special Volunteer
Ria is the versatile member of theholdinghands team. She brings in her own energy and skills at work. Be it editing a video, writing, designing a brochure, brainstorm with the team or assisting the team in making adapted teaching learning solutions. She loves to socialize and make friends. She is taking formal language training in Chinese and is also practicing Sign Language so as to be able to communicate with people with deafblindness.
